All round flexibility and performance from the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 44i
All round flexibility and performance from the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 44i
The new Sun Odyssey 44i designed by Philippe Briand combines elegance and flexibility. The main flexibility feature allows the front berth to become two seperate berths or one larger area simply by the inclusion of a small room divider.

In addition the 2 double berths in the 4 cabin version, the Sun Odyssey 44i also benefits from an additional berth option that provide bunk beds to the forward cabins as well. The removable divider can be stored underneath the berth, which give maximum flexibility to the 4 cabin version. Click on the book icon to see more images.

One of the other features that we like is that the performance version tries to keep the cockpit clear by keeping the mainsheet traveller on the cockpit roof. Some would argue that this is then not a true performance boat, but I take the opinion that for 95% os it's usage won't be flat out regatta racing, and having a clutter free and relaxed cockpit area increases the whole sailing experience. Winches and deck gear and hardware are from Harken however you still have the twin helm positions that help to give that performance feel.
