Tetra Boats is evolving with an environmental conscience and is pleased to announce its new partnership with US electric engine maker, Minn Kota. Tetra Boats produce a range of inflatable tenders and these will now be available to all customers with the option of electric outboards and propulsion systems. This is not only kinder to the environment, but will also reduce noise pollution and of course give your arms a rest from rowing and your wallet a break from rising fuel costs! Tetra Boats can now offer great power and boat packages through their UK distributor, SM Group.

“We can now supply an environmentally friendly engine to accompany all of our inflatable tenders from our smallest and most economical E230 Eco tender which is just 2.3 metres in length and priced at £255.28 plus VAT right up to our top of the range S330 Sport which is 3.3 metres and can fit all the family in for £765.91 plus VAT. We have some really great offers on all Minn Kota outboards,” explained Managing Director, David Williams.

Tetra Boats was launched less than a year ago at the 2010 Southampton Boat Show, but is proving so popular that it is now being distributed in Europe. Just last month Tetra Boats announced it’s first European distributor, Spanish company, Origin Marine in Barcelona, who are now stocking the complete range of Tetra Boats.

“We already have an exclusive dealer network nationwide, but there has been such extensive interest in the Tetra range in Europe we need to meet the demand by appointing new distributors worldwide. Origin Marine are the ideal partner in Spain, so I’m really pleased they will be our official Spanish distributor,” added David Williams.

All Tetra boats come complete with a sliding seat, foot pump, oars, 3 towing rings, four carry handles, new style valves and retentive oar locks. They are also portable, with the smallest weighing 25kg with stowing dimensions of 90 x 50 x 30cm. There is also the T265 Premium range tender. The P265 and P300 within the Pro range which feature inflatable V keels plus high pressure air deck floors. Aluminium floors are optional. And if you’re looking for something more superior there is also the S300 within the Sport range.
