Prior to delivery, Fairline Chertsey’s Dealer Principal, Richard Bates, accompanied the Squadron’s new owners to the Fairline Yacht Division’s on-water facility in Ipswich for a two day handover and sea trials.

The Squadron 65 will now make her way to Southampton and then on to her final destination in Marina de Denia, Spain, at the end of April. The boat’s owners placed their order after the Southampton Boat Show, having previously owned a Fairline Phantom 50, and are delighted with their new Squadron. The sale is representative of the popularity of the design and quality of the Fairline range among Fairline Chertsey’s customer base.

Richard Bates commented: “When we joined the Fairline dealer network last September, little did we expect our first sale to be a new Squadron 65! Both the team here at Fairline Chertsey and the customer has been impressed by the overall ease and efficiency of the order and build process and the consequent technical handover and sea trials. We are thrilled to be able to offer our existing client base the prestigious Fairline brand from our Chertsey and Eastbourne locations. It’s an exciting opportunity for us.”

James Powell, Fairline International Sales Manager said: “It’s great to see Fairline Chertsey enjoying success so soon after their appointment. With exquisite showroom and marina facilities at Chertsey, Richard and his team are ideally placed to service the needs of customers who live south west of London. In addition, Fairline Eastbourne provides a second UK south coast location for the Fairline brand at Sovereign Harbour. With many of the 2,500 berths in Eastbourne and Brighton marinas already home to a number of Fairline owners we eagerly anticipate further sales across the region.”

Fairline Chertsey covers six acres, including 100 Marina berths, and offers the largest boat showroom and chandlery on the River Thames. Fairline Eastbourne is located in one of the UK’s largest marina village developments, Sovereign Harbour, making it ideally suited to handle larger power boats, offering travel hoist, yard and workshop facilities as well as dedicated sales berths.
