New improved GK35

Westerly needs no introduction to the British sailing public, and now after having gone through several changes in company ownership and direction, is trying to re-establish itself with the British sailing public with "version 2" or a "lite" version of the GK35, now called, the GK35C. Having launched the first completely new Westerly model last year in the shape of the GK35, now we have a slightly modified version called the GK35C.

Westerly certainly chose well to enter the very popular mid thirty foot cruising. Here the number of units are high and value for money is a necessity, enabling then to win deals on price to enter the market. The changes to the GK35C are essentially cosmetic alterations and improvements on the version one, the GK35C is being offered on promotion with a slimmed down interior, ( reduced fat version ), and the standard price reduced to a competitive £89,900 including VAT, £10k off standard price.

The differences we understand are slim from the GK35 and the GK35C. We understand that after listening to early feedback from customers, the appropriate changes have been able to have been made into the the GK35C without costly mould or interior redesign.

The specification of the GK 35C includes Harken deck kit, TackTick wireless instrumentation, Yanmar diesel and saildrive, and dual 12 VDC and 220 VAC throughout and where possible using high tech carbon/epoxy technology.
