![]() Futuristic as opposed to retro look, Riva have changed course However, Riva are now firmly in the 21st century with some of it's new offerings Venere, Ego and Athena. No longer content to churn out rebuilds of it's older classics, though they are still available in the Aquariva, but Riva have decided to go up market and futuristic in a big way and have come up with something stunning in the 75 foot Venere. Price? Expensive but worth it. In fact it was first put into water back in May earlier this year, but we felt this had to be featured as the styling is so impressive. The dark hull, with the contrast of the side windows and the large front window on the cabin structure really makes a stunning image. It remains to be seen if the Italian build quality from cars has crossed over to boats as well. For power plant the Venere has two hefty 1524 Mhp / 1120 Kw a 2450 rev/min giving a max speed at full loaded displacement 33 Knots or a average cruising speed of 29 Knots. This should give a range at max. of 320 nm or at cruising speed of 345 nm. ![]() Looks good from all angles Which is a little steep if the fuel tank is 5500l at which at road prices of £1 per litre, which of course marine diesel is not would, would still some £5500 for a tank full. However lottery winners or football players don't need to worry about the price of fuel, just looking good and this certainly checks that box. This is marine transport fit for Ripley Holden of Blackpool. |
