![]() Industrial strength comes as standard on a Hallberg Rassy The HR might cost considerably more than a similarly spec'd Bavaria or Jeanneau 54 DS, but the HR 54 is most definetly the tool of choice for those longer more demanding blue water passages and cruises. The large centre cockpit bluewater cruiser, despite costing much more that the Jeanneau 54 DS, will still expect to recieve strong sales based on it's bullet proof build quality and those "industrial strength" fixtures and fittings that make it as the preferred tool of choice for serious blue water passages. More details will emerge closer to the date of it's launch, but it's typical HR centre cockpit design means that not only do you have the advantage of the larger ceiling height in the rear cabins, but also with the main sheet traveller placed well behind the cockpit, you get a nice clear cockpit as well.

The HR 43 shown here was a surprise winner as there are only about 20 HR's in existence in Australia, and despite have picked up similar awards in Europe, this is the first time HR have won in Australia.
