Room for 3 on my PWC
Room for 3 on my PWC
The See-Doo GTI(™) gets recommended by an American Magazine for PWC of the year, but is that a real recommendation for us Brits?  Us Brits know about Yank's cars being allergic to corners, perhaps it's a similar case for PWC's.  What we do know however, is that the GTI from See-Doo copes admirably with the overweight and oversized rear end of the average American PWC'er as the spin says it can seat 3 passengers, that means then, 2 American "SuperSize" passengers.

See-Doo GTI PWC of the Year 2006 But it's a PWC, which means it's act is about as civilised as Chubby Brown's and surprisingly even more annoying, and must therefore be judged accordingly.

We are very proud of this recognition
Mark Rowley, Product and Sales Manager at Jets Marivent
. "With new deck and hull designs together with a host of luxury items fitted as standard, the GTI(™) and GTI SE(™) have set a new benchmark for entry-level craft in the industry."  However, even Kawasaki say their new 160bhp STX 15F model is "SLO", so perhaps that not such a good idea either.

See-Doo go to say that the GTI(™) is the first Sea-Doo(®) four-stroke, entry-level watercraft equipped with a 130hp Rotax(®) 4-TEC(™) engine. Both PWC's seat three passengers and are fitted with Sea-Doo(®) technologies that were previously only available on higher-end luxury performance models. These include Off-Power Assisted Steering(™), a Closed-Loop Cooling System(™) and a D-Sea-Bel(™) sound reduction system. The GTI SE(™) also sports a number of extra features including a digital speedometer and 16-function digital information centre, and Sea-Doo(®) Learning Key to help new riders.

We reckon, do decent thing and get something to sail or a real sports motorboat and forget the PWC.
