Broadblue Catamarans, the UK's leading catamaran manufacturer, is officially unveiling detailed plans and a model of its definitive new flagship, the Broadblue 500 at the Collins Stewart London Boat Show 2008. Scheduled for launch in late 2008, the magnificent 50 foot catamaran looks set to take the market by storm as Broadblue announces it has already received a high level of customer enquiries and filled 2009's order book, off the layout plans alone.

The luxurious new Broadblue 500, like all Broadblue Catamarans, is designed for the individual owner. She will combine a powerful, comfortable and safe ride with strikingly beautiful lines, superb craftsmanship and elegant joinery. Designed for short handed sailing, the 500 is a fast and responsive yacht offering the same excellent sea keeping abilities associated with the entire fleet of Broadblue blue water cruisers.

Our design team led by Stuart Davidsen is renowned for its outstanding yet practical layout and design as well as impeccable attention to detail, which is immediately evident the moment you step aboard any Broadblue Catamaran
Rupert Knox-Johnston, Sales Manager

As the flagship of the Broadblue fleet and the company's largest model to date, the increase in size offered by the 500 provides the opportunity for a more customised interior. Customers will have a choice of layouts including a four double cabin version complete with their own ensuite. The stunning 500 also boasts a spacious saloon area with full standing headroom, panoramic views and a large dining table which is perfect for entertaining family and friends. The fully equipped galley is comprehensively fitted with the finest fixtures and fittings.

The Broadblue 500 is priced at £731,244 including VAT ( £624,995 ex. VAT ) and will be built to the highest level of European Recreational Craft Directive: category A (ocean).
