Luxury power boat manufacturer reported sales at the Collins Stewart London Boat Show of 55 boats worth a retail value of £38 million. In comparison to last years results, this shows exceptionally strong growth. Last years report from Fairline, reported 36 boats sold, totaling over £18 million in 2006. Meaning growth has been a staggering 200% plus, or this could also imply that how sales and booked orders are measured has been changed at Fairline.

Following a record Southampton Show, which saw sales of 58 boats valued at £31 million, it's great to be able to report sales of 55 boats worth a retail value of £38 million
Derek Carter, CEO of Fairline Boats

Fairline, celebrating it's 40th anniversary year in 2007, has seen strong growth in the Targa as well as the Squadron ranges, where the Fairline recently announced that the Squadron 74 would get lengthened to 78. The luxury motor boat market is seeing strong growth in the east where luxury boats are the status symbol to be measured by.

However Sunseeker, Princess and a wealth of Italian motor boat manufacturers under the Ferretti umbrella are also trying to chase new business in this area.

Year 2007 seems to be the anniversary year, with Jeanneau celebrating it's 50th and Fairline celebrating it's 40th of trading.
