Fairline tries the custom market

Fairline to make custom version of Squadron 78. In 2007 the Fairline flagship will change to incorporate an integral hydraulic powered hi/low bathing platform and full beam crew cabin, extending the overall length of the boat and replacing the current Squadron 74 custom.

The new Squadron 78 CUSTOM will become the largest yacht in the Fairline line up, which ranges from 38ft to 78ft and, like all Fairline's Squadron's since the launch of the very first in 1991, the Squadron 62, the yacht promises to be what a luxury performance motor yacht should be.

The Squadron 78 CUSTOM places Fairline in a new market, offering a superb production yacht that can be tailored to a customer's individual style and taste. The layout options aboard the CUSTOM are extensive, and customers can choose to include a dedicated office, separate walk-in wardrobes or enlarged en-suite bathroom.

The saloon aboard the Squadron 78 CUSTOM benefits from a free standing sofa that easily converts to reading chairs when separated, as well as a beautiful high gloss lacquered walnut sideboard with grain-matched paneling. The dining room and galley can be integrated with the saloon on the new model, creating a light, sociable area, perfect for entertaining. The galley itself, whether open or closed plan is a masterpiece, equipped with some of the most advanced catering facilities ever introduced on a yacht of this size.
