News feeds allow you to see when websites have added new content. You can get the latest headlines and video in one place, as soon as its published, without having to visit the websites you have taken the feed from.

News Feeds are also known as RSS, this stands for 'Really Simple Syndication'. For the user News Feeds using RSS are a way of being able to keep track of information from many different sources, without having to visit the website with your browser, but in order to "keep track", you will need a RSS Reader.

Finally Microsoft release Internet Explorer v7 which supports RSS Feeds. So you don't need to wait for Office 2007, upgrade to Internet Explorer v7 and click on the RSS Feed Symbol within the Toolbar.

An RSS reader can be installed on your PC, or enabled via the web using Yahoo for instance. Don't worry too much about RSS though, in the next version of MS Office 2007, Outlook directly supports RSS Feeds as a folder, just like any other email folder.
