![]() Designed to deliver a good boating experience The episode where Jeremy took a Maclaren Mercedes from London to Oslo, as the boys took a speed boat that subsequently broke down, is now not surprisingly no longer available. Not only did Top Gear destroy this individual boat, but seemingly all subsequent models as well. If only they could do the same for caravans as well. It was not really the best marketing message ever sent, especially as the rescue RIB sent after that failed as well. In fact if this was the RIB 28 from Goldfish, then this as well has been confined to the scrapheap.
Despite looking very similar to the Fairline Targa 34, it was most definetly a Goldfish 32, which has since ceased to be. Looks like this Norwegian builder will concentrate more on the RIBS for the time being, and even with this, there is still some work to be done. |

It was a dismal failure on Goldfish boats behalf, they made sure that the windscreen, life jackets and just about everything was marked Goldfish, but this fell decidedly flat when the boat's engines failed in a pall of rising black smoke.
